This is a real case, the woman got a "face" transplant. A pitbull dog had destroyed her face. This is only the second time a full face transplant has been done.

A team of doctors work for hours to complete this operation. It took a very skilled team to reconnect tiny blood vessels, and make sure the skin was viable. This operation really is amazing. It gave this woman a "face" so she could go out in public. S
